The Pinnacle award was won by the Viola Café for the fifth consecutive year, this bragging rights only award designates the team that raised the most money for the local communities. In other competition USG narrowly beat the Imperial County Planning Department to take home the best booth contest. In the ice cream making contest, Betty Lehman took home the trophy and Helen Wilson won the homemade pie-making contest.
