KXO Radio AM1230 - FM 107 has been a major event sponsor of the Rib Cook-Off since 2000. This major Imperial Valley Radio Station initially set the tone and standards by which the Athletic Club judges the successes of each years marketing campaigns.

KXO Radio of El Centro, California not only saturates the local airways with pre-event commercials, interviews, and news stories, the station has also served as a radio station agency assisting with regional radio ad placements in Yuma AZ, San Diego, and the Palm Springs Region.

KXO Radio is the CBS news affiliate for the region. KXO Radio was responsible for the Rib Cook-Off receiving national attention in 2004 for the club's Ribs to Iraq project.

KGBA FM 100.1 of Holtville, California the Rib Cook-Offs newest media sponsor/partner has been actively involved since 2001 in promoting the event through commercial spots, interviews, and local news reports. The 2006 Rib Cook-Off marked the radio stations 1st major involvement, which included a live radio remote from the event.
